It was a day unlike any other at the picturesque Mottram Hall in Cheshire, a location renowned for its stunning grounds and elegant charm. This wasn’t just any event; this was set to be Cocktails n’ Canvas’s most significant corporate engagement to date. Almost 100 delegates from the esteemed Sellick Partnership, a leading recruitment firm known for its exceptional service and commitment to community, joined us for a day of creativity, collaboration, and colour.
A tipi provided a unique and inspiring backdrop for our event. Inside, the air buzzed with anticipation as teams formed, ready to embark on a creative journey unlike any they had experienced before.
We opted for a painting that embodies the essence of freedom and life. This piece is especially fitting for corporate gatherings, as it can be partitioned, providing each attendee with the opportunity to impart a unique stroke. The chosen autumnal tree scene depicts a variety of branches, symbolising growth, stability.
This was an opportunity to break away from the conventional office environment, to engage in a shared creative process that not only fostered teamwork but also allowed individual talents to shine through.
The entire Cocktails n’ Canvas team was there every step of the way. From the initial brushstroke to the final masterpiece, our team offered guidance, encouragement, and support and was always on hand, constantly topping up paints, refreshing water pots, and ensuring that all necessary materials were abundant and readily available.
As the morning unfolded, it became clear that this event was about more than just painting; it was about storytelling, personal expression, and the joy of creating something beautiful together and plenty of laughter filled the air!
A gallery of tree scenes stood as a testament to the morning’s teamwork, creativity, and fun. Each painting was unique, yet all shared a common bond—a sense of achievement and collective effort.
