What a brilliant day we had on Saturday at DL Fest at the David Lewis Centre in Warford, Alderley Edge, we managed to raise £515 for them, the sun was absolutely beaming, and so were the faces of everyone enjoying the fantastic atmosphere.
David Lewis does incredible work, providing outstanding education, residential care, day opportunities, and medical and therapeutic support for people with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism. It was truly inspiring to be part of an event that supports such a vital cause.
The festival itself was a vibrant hub of activity. Live music filled the air, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of fun. The food stalls offered some delicious treats, and there was a real sense of community spirit throughout the grounds. It was clear that a lot of hard work had gone into making DL Fest a memorable day for everyone.
We were there with a mission: a Cocktails ‘n’ Canvas sale! We brought along a fantastic selection of canvases from previous events, and we’re thrilled to announce that the sale was a massive success. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who stopped by and purchased a piece, we managed to raise an incredible £515 for the David Lewis Centre! Not only did we contribute to a wonderful charity, but we also created some much-needed breathing space in our storage room – a win-win for sure!
It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves and supporting the David Lewis Centre. Events like DL Fest are crucial for raising awareness and funds, and we were so proud to play a small part in it.
